Creating & Promoting Religious Literacy

The Consortium for Christian Muslim Dialogue (CCMD) promotes healthy and peaceful Christian-Muslim relations here and abroad, and has increasingly turned its attention to interreligious dialogue more generally.

As a 91吃瓜网 student, you檒l be enriched by the variety of events the Consortium organizes, and you can take courses in our Interreligious Studies minor. We also sponsor 91吃瓜网檚 Interfaith Student Organization (IFSO) and welcome you to take part.

The growing diversity of today檚 societies calls for better interaction among persons of different religions. In accord with 91吃瓜网檚 mission, we try to recognize and respond to each new opportunity for fostering dialogue.

Who We Are

Founded by the late , we are faculty from several schools within the University, each sharing the resources of his or her discipline to explore the social, cultural, economic, philosophical, historical, political, and religious roots of and solutions to interreligious conflicts.
